Pull x86 cleanups from Borislav Petkov:

     - Serious sanitization and cleanup of the whole APERF/MPERF and
frequency invariance code along with removing the need for
       unnecessary IPIs

     - Finally remove a.out support

     - The usual trivial cleanups and fixes all over x86
