All idle functions in arch/* are more or less the same, plus minus a few bugs and extra instrumentation, tickless support and other optional items. Implement a generic idle function which resembles the functionality found in arch/. Provide weak arch_cpu_idle_* functions which can be overridden by the architecture code if needed. Signed-off-by:

Due to all of the goodness being packed into today's kernels, the resulting image isn't as slim as it once was. In light of this, don't pass -msmall-data to gcc, which otherwise results in link failures due to impossible relocations when compiling anything but the most trivial configurations. This patch adds support for kvm_gfn_to_hva_cache_init functions for reads and writes that will cross a page. If the range falls within the same memslot, then this will be a fast operation. If the range is split between two memslots, then the slower kvm_read_guest and kvm_write_guest are used. Tested: Test against kvm_clock unit tests. Signed-off-by:
